The Rev. Thomas 11. Roseveare. moderator of the general assembly of the Presbyterian Church in New Zealand, who conducted his first service in the Gisborne district at Knox Church last evening, left to-day for the Coast on a visit to Mr. Ernest Way's parish, Tolaga Hay. The moderator is io speak at St'. Andrew’s Church, Gisborne, on Sunday morning, at Matawhero in the afternoon, and at Ormond in the evening. He leaves Gisborne on Monday, accompanied b/ the Revs. A. J. 11. Dow, R. B. Spence and J. W. Martin, and Mr. E. Way, to attend the presbytery meeting in Napier on Tuesday.
