PORT OF GISBORNE ARRIVALS Friday. July HI. Tiroa, s.s., (1.30 p.m., 20G tons, J. F. Coleman, from Tokomaru Bay. Wainui, s.s., 11.30 p.m.. 1033 tons, H. S. Collier, from Napier. DEPARTURES Saturday* July 17. Margaret W„ m.v., 4.5 a.m., 394 tons, J. R. Owen, for Auckland. The Wainui (Captain H. S. Collier), with southern cargo, arrived in the roadstead at 11.30 p.m. yesterday, and berthed this morning. On completion of discharge and loading she is to sail for Dunedin, where she is lo commence loading again for Napier and Gisborne.
The Kaimai, which is loading coal, timber and posts for Gisborne and Napier, is expected to leave Greymouth early next week. The Pukeko has been delayed by rain at Napier and is now expected to clear the Hawke’s Bay port on Monday for Auckland, where she will load on Wednesday for Coast hays, Gisborne and Napier.
The Pakura has been further delayed bv rain at Lyttelton and it is now hoped that she will complete her loading at Wellington on Miniday, when she will sail for Napier and Gisborne. The vesel should discharge here on Thursday. The Awahou, which also was delayed by rain, left Portland to-day for Gisborne and Napier. After discharging cement here on Monday the vessel will load for Wellington, calling at Napier en route.
The Margaret W. was dispatched from Gisborne early this morning for the Coast and Auckland. She worked Tolaga Bay this morning and Tokomaru Bay this afternoon and is expected to reach Auckland to-morrow night. The vessel carried from Gisborne, as well as general cargo. 275 sheep for Auckland. She is to load at Auckland as usual on Monday and Tuesday. Adverse weather conditions have prevented the commencing of the loading of frozen meat, butter and general cargo on board the New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Turakina in the Gisborne roadstead, and it is hoped that conditions will moderate sufficiently to allow for loading to be commenced on Monday. On completion of loading at Gisborne the ship will proceed to Tokomaru Bay to continue the loading of frozen meat for London.
The Wairuna leaves Union Bay on July 23 for San Francisco, where she is to load, and later at Los Angeles, for Auckland, Papeete, Napier. Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin.
The Limerick, en route to Vancouver to load for New Zealand and Australian ports, leaves Suva on Tuesday for Papeete and San Pedro. The Hauraki, with cargo from Pacilic Coast ports, leaves Auckland to-day for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Australian ports.
