CHURCH LEADERSHIP
"MUST COME OFF FENCE" ADVICE Ol' 1 BISHOP (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. "We must come off the fence and take sides in the great fight between the forces of God and the forces of evil in the world,"' declared the Bishop of Wellington, the Right Rev. H. St. Barbe Holland, addressing the Wellington diocesan synod this afternoon. In countless ways, he said, the church could exorcise that true leadership in the nation which Earl Baldwin saw to be necessary, but it could be done only if its members put first things first and became outstanding examples of the power of Christ td influence and control human life.
