STRIKE RIOTING FATAL
CLASH IN OHIO SPECIAL POLICE ARMED MASSILLON (Ohio), July 12. One person was killed and six injured in rioting which occurred at the gates to the Republic Steel Corporation’s plant. Special police armed with clubs, tear-gas, and firearms, charged a group of 250 sympathisers of the Committee for Industrial Organisation, who were seeking to prevent workers from entering the works.
