STOCK FROM BRITAIN
CATTLE AND SHEEP AUSTRALIAN PURCII ASKS LONDON, July 10. The boom in Australian meat shipments, exceeding last year’s total by 300,000 cwt., is reflected in the monthly purchases of English pedigree live stock, including a quantity of Red Polled cattle from Wolverhampton which have been selected for Australia, and also Southdown rams.
The Australian Meat Board is establishing an office overlooking the Smithfield market.
