BRITISH FLYING BOAT
OFFICIAL (TTY WELCOME
(Reed. July 10, 2.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, July 9.
The British trans-Atlantic Hying boat Caledonia landed from Montreal, the crew being welcomed by city officials.
Captain Arthur Wilcockson told the Associated Press that a regular Pacific air service was even more practicable than an Atlantic one, though he would hesitate to comment thereon without actual experience.
Pacific weather, lie said, was more reliable than over the Atlantic, and for this reason a service would be safer. Undoubtedly the Atlantic experience would assist in solving the problems 'of the Pacific route.
