The track was lidding. Talavern Hack Hurdle Handicap.-—-1-1 Blue Tiger (C. McGovern), 1: 2-2 Donegal (R. E. Thomson), 2; 4-4 True Shaft (C. Thomson). 3. All started. Won by half a neck, and five lengths. Time. 3.4.
Novice Handicap.—l-1 Rival Hit (A. C. Messervy), 1; 3-3 Old Surrey (W. J. Broughton), 2: 10-9 Mishna <D. Lamb), 3. Scratched: Maori Song. Won by two lengths, and three lengths. Time, 1.19 J. July Steeplechase—2-2 Burglar (L. Dulieu), 1: 5-5 All Irish <C. McGovern), 2: 3-3 Trisox (V. Langford), 3. Scratched: Tudor. Won by 10 lengths, and eight lengths. Time, 0.50. Crofton Hack Handicap—l-1 Maori Song (N. McKenzie), 1; 2-0 Hauponga (P. Atkins), 2: 8-8 Gladium (S. Wilson). 3. Scratched: Joviality, Young Paddon. Won by two lengths, and four lengths. Time, 1.18“.
