(Herald Correspondent.) Miss Broadhurst and Mrs. R. Take, Gisborne spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. M. Gudgeon, Wairoro. —Mr. and Mrs. J. Shariand were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. G. Cotterill, Makarilca, for the week-end. —Master Jan and Jim Shariand have returned home to spend their vacation with their parents. Mr. Dann recently gave a lantern lecture at Tikitiki in connection witli early .Maori history. Mr. Dann, who has spent two months on the Coast giving a series of lectures, intends returning to Napier at an early date.
