COAST DEFEAT CANTERBURY (Per Press Association.) GREYMOUTH, last night. Defending the Northern Union Cup, West Coast defeated Canterbury by 20 points to 13 on Saturday in showery weather. There was a good attendance. The Coast scorers were N. Kiely (2), J. Roberts (2), while Kicly converted one try and P. Scott converted one try and kicked two penalties. For Canterbury, Whitley scored, E. Jones converted, Davison kicked three penalties, and Hendry a field-goal.
