LABOURER’S FORTUNE

LEGACY OF £15,000 LONDON, June 27. The Sunday Graphic says: “Mr. William Wilson, wharf-labourer, of Melbourne, reached Tilbury after 37 years in Australia to claim an inheritance of £15,000. “He came in response to a broadcast appeal for his whereabouts. He had to borrow £5 from a friend at Tilbury. He said; ‘I am not interested in London’s tubes and motor cars. I have had enough of England and I am going to Australia within a week.’ ”
