Eleven cases of diphtheria occurred at Franlcton during June, and one was reported this week. Four members of one family, three members of another fti-niiy, and two members of a third f'>mi:v were affected, the patients including several adults. The cases occurred within the drainage area, r>">d in several instances were a considerable distance apart. No reason has been assigned for the outbreak. All the patients are recovering, and two have been discharged from hospital.
