McCREADY BEATS SPELLMAN FAST FINAL ROUNDS (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, last night. Bv gaining a fall in the sixth round with a dump and a body press, Earl McCreadv beat Jack Spellman in a professional wrestling bout which went the full distance to-night. It was a hard match, with very little showmanship, but McCreadv had a great advantage an weight and reach. The final rounds were fast and furious with SDelman holding McCready in a nainfu'l forward toehold for five minutes. Twice in the last round he had an Indian deathlock on. but could not develop it to the lull extent.
KIRILINKO BEATS STEIN (Pf*r Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. Matros Kirilinko beat Sammy Stem on points at the 9pera House this evening, after each had secured a fall. Stein took the first fall in tire sixth round after a series of flying tackles, and Kirilinko equalised in the seventh round after a iolt which battened Stein on the canvas.
