SUPPLY AND PRICES evidence of retailers (Pm Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. Conditions in the retail fish trade, the continuity and distribution of fis luDDlles, and wholesale and retail prfees were among the subjects covered by the sea fisheries investigation committee when it resumed yesterday.
The whole of the day was spent in hearing the evidence tendered by the Auckland Retail Fishmongers Association. Evidence was given on many other aspects of the trade, including wastage,* the licensing of fish shops and hawkers and the costs incurred in the retail trade. The question ol oyster supplies and sales was also dealt with.
