DILEMMA CAUSED BY BEES TROUSERS WITISKED AWAY (Reed. July 7, 2.30 p.m.) BUDAPEST, July 6. A “madman” going to Budapest by train proved to be a farmer whose bees, escaping from their containers under the seat, swarmed in his trousers. Women fled as he tore the garments off to shake the invaders out of the window. A passing express whisked the trousers from his hands and Ihe guard, seeing a trouserless man, sent on an alarm to the police. The farmer was being measured by a tailor tor new trousers when lie was seized and put in a straitjackct and placed in an asylum, where lie remained for three days before his story was verified. He was then released.
