MINISTER OF LABOUR
EMPLOYMENT QUEST ANOTHER GISBORNE VISIT (Pur Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. As part of his campaign for finding useful employment for able-bodied men, in co-operation with the various local bodies, the acting-Minister of Laobur, the Hon. P. C. Webb, will leave on Sunday for an extended tour of the North Island, during which he will confer with local body representatives in respective localities. The tour includes Auckland and Gisborne. Mr. Webb will be in Auckland on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. He will visit the Waikato on the Thursday and from there he will proceed to Rotorua. He is due at Tauranga on July 19 and on the following day he is to meet local bodies at Whakatane and Opotiki. He is scheduled to reach Gisborne on July 21. A visit will also be made to Rautoria.
The Minister, who will be away from Wellington about a fortnight, will leave the East Coast on July 22 on his return to Wellington.
