STRENUOUS BOXING

CRAIG BEATS FISHER (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, last night. In a fast and exciting boxing bout this evening, C. Craig, South Canterbury champion, beat 11. Fisher, New Zealand champion, on points. Both boxers fought strenuously at close quarters, and round followed round in a series of hectic rallies which were vigorously applauded hy the crowd. The bout- ended amidst great excitement, with the boxers standing toe to toe and exchanging blows to head and body.
