HOSPITAL INVESTIGATION
COMMISSION FOR NAPIER
TREATMENT AND CONTROL
(Tor Press Association.) NAPIER, this day. A Royal Commission which has been appointed to inquire into tile management and administration of the Napier Hospital will open its sittings on Monday, June 14. It is expected that the inquiry will last for several days. The, personnel of the commission is Air. E. Mosley, S.M., Sir James Elliott, and .Miss Ceeilia McKenny, formerly matron, of the Wanganui Hospital. An extensive order of reference provides for investigation into the admission and treatment of certain patients, with special reference to an outbreak of ah infectious disease among infants, matters relating to the general management of the institution and the question as to whether any action on the part of anyone connected with the institution has
been detrimental to the discipline of the nursing staff.
