EFFORTS TO‘CONTINUE A SUGGESTION DENIED (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, May 31. The meetings held at Geneva last week afforded ft fresh opportunity to the Foreign Minister of Great Britain, France and Belgium to review the state of the negotiations for a now* Western agreement. As is known, all three Governments attach the greatest importance to bringing the discussions, which have been in train now for more than a year, to a. successful conclusion, and it was agreed to press o;i wiih the efforts to this end. Reports which have appeared suggesting that as a result of the talks at Geneva, Air. Anthony Eden, the British Foreign Secretary, has undertaken some special responsibility for this purpose on behalf of tho other parties concerned, are understood to be without foundation.
