CLUB'S OPENING M EETTNG The first meeting for the 1937 season of the Gisborne Junior Business Mens Club was held last evening in Le Gran« rooms, there, being a good attendance of both old and new members. Mr. J>. W • Anderson brieily outlined the ideals amt objects of the club as educational, fellowship and service. . Following the tea adjournment, tic members were addressed by Dr. A. BSinger, who gave a most interesting ta < on “Russia.” The speaker exhibited photographs he had taken on Ins *' cc ® n , tour, as well as a nuinher of illustrated papers. The club members were greatly interested in the photographs and the doctor’s account of his tour. At the conclusion the members asked numerous questions about the country. On the motion of Mr. Stan. . Vincent, a hearty vole of thanks was accorded to the lecturer. lL A iis arranged that the club’s next meeting should he held on the evening of June 16. .
