TWO CASES AT EDGECUMBE SCHOOL CLOSED Two children attending the Edgecumlie School. Rangitaiki Plains, have been reported to he suffering from infantile paralysis. Asa consequence tho L’dgooumbo School was closed as from Monday until further notice. The. district health officer at Hamilton. Dr. 11. B. Turbott. stated on Monday that the epidemic throughout the Waikato and East Coast was definitely on the wane, and that only occasional isolated eases were now being reported. A woman aged 40. a resident of Te Arolia. has been admitted to the Waikato Hospital, and is being treated as a positive ease of infantile paralysis.
