BOY WOUNDED IN HEAD BULLET FROM FRIEND’S GUN While out rabbit-shooting with companions on Monday, Edward James Jamieson, aged 15, son of Mr. A. E. Jamieson, of To Poi, was shot in the back of tho head, lie was removed to a private hospital and later taken to the Waikato Hospital, where his condition is said to be serious. The boy had been kneeling down near a rabbit burrow when a rabbit appeared from another burrow. He shot at the animal from a kneeling position, and as he rose from his knees one of his companions behind him fired, tho bullet lodging in the back of Jamieson’s head.
