St. (Jeorge's Angliean Church, I’atutiihi, was (he seene of a quiet but pretty wedding on Saturday afternoon, when Kflic Alargurile, fourth daughter of Air. and Airs. (i. 11. llallard, I’atutiihi, vviis married to Iteginakl David Trevor, third son of Airs. Jones and the kite Air. (i. Jones, Wailiilii. The Jtev. 11. Speight eoudueted the innrriiige ceremony, and Airs. 11. ICennaway presided at the organ. The 'bride, who was escorted by her father, was becomingly attired in a long, graceful frock of ivory silk crepe cut on classical lines. The bodice was trimmed with gauging, its were the long sleeves, which terminated in a point over the hand. The embroidered veil was surmounted by a coronet of orange blossom, and she carried a charming bouquet of white chrysanthemums and asparagus fern. The bride was attended bv her niece, Aliss I‘cggy Angliind, as bridesmaid. She was Crocked in pale pink silk crepe made with a round yoke and puli' sleeves, and carried a Victorian posy of pale pink flowers. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr. Norman Jones, brother of the bridegroom. After the ceremony at the church, a reception was held at. the home, of the bride’s parents, Wairoa road, the guests being all near relatives of the bride and bridegroom. The young couple were the recipients of many useful presents, including several cheques. The bride travelled in a smart navy tailored costunic, navy ' hat, with shoes and gloves to tone.
