OLD BOYS' SUCCESS GOOD FORM CONTINUES OELTIC TWO -POINTS TJP SATURDAY'S SENIOR QAMEJS. ..Continuing their run of good form, Old Boys' seniors defeated H. 5.0.8. on Saturday afternoon in the Poverty Bay Rugby Union's competition .series, drawing level with their opponents on the championship ladder and leaving Celtic, .who won their match against P.W.D., two points out in front.

P.W.D. put up a good display against Celtic, and did what no o.ther team had done before Old Boys beat the championship leaders last week — they crossed tho Celtic, line on one occasion and actually held the lead until well on in the match. turned out in force against Marist, and after a close-fought first half, went ahead to win comfortably enough at the finish. Detailed scores were as under: —;

Seniors.—Old Boys 10, beat H. 5.0.8. nil; Celtic 17, beat P.W.D. 1); Y.M.P. 27, beat Marist 9.

Juniors-Celtic 9 beat H. 5.0.8. 6; Old Boys B 14 beat Marist 3; High School 35 beat P.W.D., nil; Old Boys A 9 beat Waikoihn nil.
