REMAINS OF A WRECK.—For the past 12 years the rusty, battered remains of the steamer Cyrena have been regarded as an ugly landmark on the Castlecliff beach, at Wanganui. The Cyrena was a steel screw steamer of 2188 tons gross, owned by the Anglo-Saxon Petroleum Company, and was wrecked at Castlecliff in May, 1925.
