APOLOGY FOR FADE-OUT
SPITHEAD COMMENTARY LIGHTS OF THE FLEET (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. May 28. 2.50 p.m.) LONDON, May 27. The Broadcasting Corporation has apologised for the sensational fade-out of the description of the fleet illuminations which was to have heen given at Spitbead last Friday night by Lieut.Commander T. Woodrooffe. The corporation says that after his return from a short period of sick leave, Lieut.-C'ommander Woodrooffe will bo transferred to duties not involving speaking into the micropuono. ,
