\YHARR AT TOKOMARU HAY

(Special to the Herald.) TOKOMARU BAY, this day

The tender of Air. R. A. Cornish, Auckland, has been accepted by the Tokomaru Harbour Board tor the reconstruction of the wharf at Waima, the contract price being £20,486. The. same contractor was also successful in tendering l’or the erection of stores ami waterside workers’ buildings to be erected as part of the board’s plans for the improvement of harbour ■facilities. Fifteen months is allowed for the completion of the work.

The new wharf, which is to replace the present structure that has done service, for many years, will comprise a concrete viaduct, with a wooden end and a concrete seawall.
