PEEK'S GPANDDAUOHTEP DIES LONDON, Marcli 27. Twelve-year-old Sarah Brand, eld ■st daughter of the Hon. Thomas Henry Brand, of Hyde Park street W., came home from m children'? party, and was admiring in a mirror her fancy dress with crinoline before she took it off, when it touched tin electric .lire and burst into (lames. She lay in a nursing home for a week, but died on Thursday. At tin' inquest the same day, a verdict of "Accidental death" was recorded. Mr. Brand is the son and heir of Viscount Hampden. Sarah's grandfather, the third viscount, married I.ndv Katharine Mary Montagu-Douglas-Scott, daughter of the sixth Duke Of P.nccleuch. Through the female line, the family is descended from John Hnmoderi.
