MEETING OF COMMITTEE (Herald (.Wnspomlent.) A eommiilee meeting of ihe Waiapu L'aeing Club was held in b'uatoiia, there being present Messrs. It. 11. Wic.kste.ed, chairman, <>. T. Williams, ('. K. Williams, .1. 11. McNeil. H. G. Burnett, .1. Arnold, and R. \V. Ford. The chairman moved a vole of condolence with the family of the late Mr. .1. M. Reedy and ii was decided that a letter expressing sympathy in her bereavement should be forwarded from the club to Mrs. .1. M. Reedy. A I.'iter in reference to the King George V memorial fund was received from Mr. 11. R. Sellars, secretary of the New Zealand Racing Conference, and it was agreed that a donation of £lO 10s should be made from the Waiapu Racing Club.

RABBONI'S NAME CHANGED The name of Rabboni was disallowed for the two-vear-old Rabbi -.lael gelding i„ C C McCarthy's stable at Riccatton, and the nam.- has been changed to Rabble. This youngster seems to base recovered from the leg injury that ncces silated his being put out "I work ear.y in the season, bat it will not be known whether he will stand until he is given some fast work, lie has built up in con dition and looks well. I ill will be kepi to light, exercise until Ins trainer returns from the north, where he is campaigning with Monastic.
The other two-vear-olds in the stable, S'ereamor and Ciselle. have disappointed in their races to date, and they will not lc raced again for some tunc. •::iselle. ii filly h.v Captain Bunsliy from Ladv Epsom! has been responsible L.l .some, smart track efforts, but she is inclined to play up at the barrier and has been badlv away several times. She is owned bv Miss M. C. Wilson, ol Rcefton, who also owns Monastic and Argentic.
