When ;i dust-begrimed car and a nailer stalled in the heart of Sydney to-day, a curious crowd which gathered ascertained lhal the trailer's freight consisted of 700 live snakes, ranging from pythons to death adders. They wen' caught by :i professional snake-catcher, Rudolph Delinume, aged 27, in the outback and in Central Australia. ITe explained lhal the snakes were mostly for shipment lo London and Continental zoos. Payment for llietu would lie made al a rate per foot.
