Evcrv one of the 117 animals submitted found a purchaser, the cuttle being distributed over the North Island and one going to the South Island. The other half of the herd will be sold to-morrow.
There was a refreshing keenness about the sale. The prices were satisfactory, the average on Monday being about 22gns.

BUSINESS IN DUNEDIN The report of the Trustees, Executors and Agency Company of New Zealand, Limited, ' Dunedin, for the year ended March 31. shows a net profit of £3709, against, £3532 a year ago. Together with the balance from last year of £10,046, there is a credit of £13,755. An interim dividend of 4 per cent for the half-year ended September 30. 1936. was paid. The directors now recommend the following appropriations:—To a dividend of 4 per rent (making 8 per cent for the year). £800; to be written off freehold ' property account. C 450; to be written off office furniture account, £450: leaving £11,255 (subject, to income lax for the year jn-l eudel) to no carried forward.
