The close community of interest between Gisborne and Opotiki residents was emphasised daring a visit to Gisborne Savage Club members to Opotiki on Saturday for a gatliering of the Opotiki Orphans’ Club, the visitors providing the whole of the evening’s programme. The party from Gisborne comprised 12 performers, and was accorded the warm appreciation of the host club, which was opening its 1937-38 season. .It. is expected that, tile Opotiki’club will send a party to‘return the visit in the course of a few weeks, and this will be much looked forward to by Gisborne Savages.
