Afiss Bet-tv Wilson, Te Puia Springs, left this week for Waihi to reside with relatives.—Afiss Ngaire Hill returned to Tokomaru Bay at the weekend from Gisborne, where she has been spending the holidays with her parents. —Afiss J. Mitchell has returned to Tokoinaru Bay after spending the holidays in Waipawa. Mr.* and Airs. O. Snndberg arrived in TOkomnm Bay this week from Ka’itaia. Mr. Sandberg lias been appointed headmaster at the Tokomarn Bay Public School, in succession to Air. A. E. Nodwell, who recently left for Petone.
Airs. Ray Oates and her small daughter, Gwencla, Tokoinaru Bay, left last week-end to spend a holiday at Hawick with Mr’, and Mrs. Nicliolls.—• Air. Reeve Hollevcr has returned to Hastings after spending a week at his home iri Tokomaru Bay.—Miss Nanc-o Brodio returned to Wairoa this week after spending a holiday with her mother, Airs. J. Brodie, Tc Puka Hotel. —Air. and Airs. W. L. Wheeler, Tokomaru Bay, are visiting "Wellington.—Mr. S. Hamilton, Wairoa, was a recent guest at Te Puka Hotel.—Miss Margaret Corbett, Hautanoa, spent the week-end in Gisborne.
Mrs. F. R. Brown, Tokomaru Bay, lias been spending a few days at Ruatoria as n guest at the Manutahi Hotel.—Mr. and Airs. It. J. Stevens and the Misses J. and F. Stevens, Hautuni, have returned home after spending a holiday in Tokomaru Bay.—Captain and Mrs. 11. T. Angus returned to Hantanoa this week after spending a holiday with Mr. and Airs. T. V. Whittle at Coromandel.—Afiss R. Jackson has returned to Tokomaru Bay after spending the holidays in Gisborne. —Airs. E. Knox returned to Tokomaru Bay this week after visiting friends in To Araroa. Air. K. Hnrdacre, Gisborne, is visiting Air. and Airs. P. Ilaidacic at Hautanoa. —Mr. R. Binder, Gisborne, is spending a holiday with his mot tier, Mrs. R. Binder.—Miss F. Ate Knight
