STUDENTS BUILD ROADS
SHANGHAI, April Id. All students in Chinese schools and universities to-day were helping to beautify the grounds of their institutions and building roads under a policy of slate conscription which is part’ of the New Life .Movement Scheme. The students must do manual labour every Saturday afternoon. .Materials used are furnished to fhe seliools without cost by the local authorities eoncomed.
