WARNING TO FARMERS

The danger of haystacks being placed by fanners beneath high-ten-sion power lines was referred to at. a recent meeting of the Waitemata Electric Power Board.

The chairman, Air. \V. It. T. Leighton, said there had been many cases of stacks being placed in this manner iu the past, and in one instance it was the cause of a man’s death.

It was reported that a circular had been issued to farmers, urging them to exercise more care in the selection 6f positions for their stacks.
