DEATH OF HULA GIRL

LOS ANGELES. April 22.
The death of a 22-year-old hula dancer from burns suffered when a spurned spectator touched a match to her grass skirt while she danced in a waterfront bar room, brought the arrest, to-day of Matthews Donahue, aged 57. lie was booked on suspicion of murder.
Police said witnesses, including bar room revellers, accused Donahue of setting lire to the girl’s flimsy costume after she refused his request for a meeting. The girl, May Pur due, died last night.
