MAHIA HUNT

MEET AT AWAMATE (Herald Correspondent.) The Mahia Hunt Chili had a very enjoyable meet at Mr. P. J. Lister's property, Awarnate, on Saturday. The weather was ideal for hunting and a number of good runs were made, one kill resulting. The followers were: Misses Jamieson, Brownlee (2). Shortt. Delaney and Sainsburv: Mrs. Craig: Messrs. A. J. Devery, master, J. Agnew, whip. D. Wilson, huntsman. K. and P. Wilson, Brownlee 131. Cordon Smith, Bullmore, and N. O-'JVialley. Afternoon tea was dispensed by Mrs. O'Malley, and Mr. Devery, for the hunting company, tendered their thanks to their hosts.
