WILLIAMSTOWN RACES BERMUDA WINS STEEPLES (Eleo. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) MELBOURNE, May 2::. Having his first run over the fences, Bermuda won the Autumn Steeples al the Willinmstowii races on Saturday, defeating Underwood by 12 lengths, with Tonga hi 4juur lengths away third. Bermuda, who is engaged in the Grand National Steeples, covered the Iwo miles in [lmin. sosee. Tin? Koroit Hurdles was won by Bridge of Mar, with Marshland second and Strobus third.
Arntlnah was unplaced in the Beach Welter Handicap.
MOOREFIELD MEETING
LTNKLET RUNS SECOND SYDNEY, May 2;!. Al the Moorefield races on Saturday, Linklet ran second in the Rochdale Mile Handicap, which was won by Buonarroti.
Silver Coat finished fourth in the Brush Hurdles, which was won by Tredomier.
