A fine of £1 and costs 12s was imposed by Mr. FJ. L. Walton. 8.M., in the Magistrate's Court to-day on Trevor ,1. Wilkinson, Makanri, for offering lice infested sheep for sale at the Matawhero saleyards. James Austin. Morere, was convicted and ordered to pay costs 12b, the defendant stating that lie was ill at the time the sheep were put into the yards.
