"I have seen over a dozen cars ditched in the same place on different occasions,' slated a resident when discussing a motor accident which occurred at tho corner ot Ormond road and Fox street yesterday. Tho motorist in this instance was proceeding up Ormond road from town and when turning into Fox street he swerved to avoid an approaching car. The outside wheels travelled off the bitumen a little and skidded on the grass, which slopes steeply from the bitumen down into a deep ditch. The car was practically undamaged, but it could not 'ie removed until this morning. The corner is known to motorists as a dangerous one and care must be taken when negotiating it so as not to get off the bitumen. The loose shingle on the corner, the high level of the bitumen road in Fox street, and the steep grassy slopes have been factors in many accidents.
