TIMBER LINE TRAGEDY

MAN FATALLY INJURED COMPANION IN HOSPITAL (Per Press Association.) T.AUMARUNUI, last, night. As the result of a jigger leaving the rails when returning to the Marton Sash and Door Company's National Park mill last night, two bushmen were admitted to the Taumarunni Hospital. One, Dennis Woodman, J, single, of Levin, subsequently succumbed to severe head injuries. The other injured man, Herbert Huia. Oavin, driver of the jigger, suffered injuries to his legs.
