HEALTH CAMP PLANS DO.MAT NT HOARD’S CONSENT NO SUBSTANTIAL CHANCES Permission for the use ol the Park Domain for the purpose of a lieallh camp for children for a period oi one or two months was granted to the ois borne district executive of the Federation _of Health Camp Committees, by the Gisborne Borough Council last evening, the council sitting as the Park Domain Hoard.

The application of the health camp committee was put, before the council in a Idler which stated that application also had been made to the Poverty Bay Turf Club for the use of the buildings on the Domain. That club’s consent was understood to have been given. Cr. 11. 11. DcCosta moved that Die council grant its permission for the use of the grounds. The committee was doing good work, and was I idly alive to the situation in regard to the health ut children in the district.

Cv. IL. E. Maude, who presided, remarked that permission should be subject, to the racing chili’s consent lor the use of the buildings, and also to the. engineer's approval of the proposed alterations and oilier works planned by the committee.

The motion granting permission for the use of tin l domain was carried uiianimouslv, without further discussion.
