The second day of the Kgmont Racing Club’s meeting opened in cold, threatening weather, but nevertheless the attendance was good and the track good after last night’s lain. Ukaiawa hurdles Handicap.—l-2 Ruaform, 1; 2-1 Don Erma, 2; 3-3 Bazaine, a. All started. Won by two lengths, and four lengths. Time, 2.50 2-5.

Waimnte Handicap.—3 Gold Mission, 1; 1 Olessamor, 2; 2 Notinm, 3. Scratched: Moatoa. Won by one and a half lengths, and three-quarters of a length. Time, J.lO 4-5.
