THE WEATHER To-day’s North Island Report Overcast and unsettled weather was reported throughout the North Island this morning, with rain fairly general. Moderate to strong south-westerly winds were general. The barometer had commenced a rising movement. Tempo futures at 9 o’clock were; Auckland 54 degrees, Tutiranga 62. Gpotiki 60. I’.asL Cape 64, Gisborne 65, Napier 52, mid Wellington 50. Rough seas were reported between Cape Campbell Mid Castlepoint and at Tiritiri; elsewkve moderate or smooth.
