ESCAPE OF OCCUPANTS (Por Pross Association.l WELLINGTON, this day. A small sports car just concluding a fortnight'H tour of the North Island was wrecked by lire on the top of Paekakariki Hill yesterday. When changing to a lower gear, the owner. Mr. Stan. Little, saw flames burst forth from the engine following a backfire. The carburettor and tank both took fire, and the occupants, of the car were only just able to make a hurried exit and'watch its destruction.
