FORESTER VISITORS
DEPARTURE TO-DAY GREAT HOSPITALITY Most of the delegates to the triennial district conference of the Ancient Order of Foresters left Gisborne this morning on their return home. Last night they were entertained at the King's Theatre, followed by suppet at the Masonic Hall, at which the visitors took the opportunity of again congratulating Court William Gladstone on the success of the arrangements made for their entertainment. Delegates also spoke of the hospitality extended to them during their stay. Before leaving this morning, the district secretary, Bro. A. W. 0. Travers, sent telegrams of appreciation and thanks to various persons and organisations lor their kindness, including the Mayor, Mr. D. W, Coleman, M.F., the Poverty Bay Turf Club, for the invitation to attend the race meeting, Court William Gladstone, for the complete arrangements made for the stay of the delegates in Gisborne. and to the proprietors of Le Grand Cafe, congratulating them on the excellence of the preparations made for the function on Wednesday night. Some of tile visitors are staying on in Gisborne to enjoy a holiday. Several have brought their own cars, and intend visiting the Coast and other scenic spots in the district before returning home.
