LAST EVENING'S SPORTS TIFFEN CLEARS SFT, BIN. IN LADIES' RELAY TEAM DOES WELL The weekly sports meeting of the Gisborne Amateur Athletic and Harrier Club was held on the Childers Road Reserve last evening. The outstanding performance of the evening was that of (J. TitfV-n. who won the men's high jump. Titfen, who was the scratch man in the event, cleared sft. Bin. The ladies' relay team for the llawke's Bay championships had a, run in the 440yds. relay handicap and aquttted themselves 'well. The tootballers' 75yds. dash was won by A. Falconer off l^yds.
