AMERICAN ENDEAVOURS POWER TO PRESIDENT WASHINGTON, Feb. 10. The Mouse of Representative* passed a resolution extending foi three years President Roosevelt'.' power to negotiate reciprocal trade agreements. The measure will now gc; to the Senate. President Roosevelt announced that he intends to submit to Congress a broad programme combining ail national planning, food control, and the conservation of national resources under one organisation, based on eight regional boards. The details will be determined at conferences to be held later.
