FORSTER RIVER RACE K. MORSE WINS CUP The Forster Cup river race whs swum last evening on the Taruheru River between Derby street and the Trafalgar Rotunda, arid K. Morse, oft the 50sec mark, was the first to eioss the line. In presenting the cop after the race on Mr. 11. F. Forster"s behalf. Mr. 1). \V. McKeague complimented the winner on his performance and congratulated Miss 11. McKnight, the only lady swimmer and thrice previously a holder of the cup, on swimming into second place. The result was as follows :—K. Morse, Msec. 1; Miss 11. McKnight, 80sec. 2 : T. Somervell, 65sec, 3. Time, 12min 25sec.
