TOLAGA BAY DOG TRIALS
CLUB'S ANNUAL MEETING
SUCCESSFUL NEAR

The annual meeting of the Toiaga Bay Dog Trials Club was held at Toiaga Bay at the week-end, a .large attendance ol members being present. There were few alterations to the committee, Mr. R. (fra ill I icing re-elected chairman, and Mr. 0. G. Janies secretary.
The date of the trials was fixed for March 10. 11, and 12, the judge to he Mr. F. A. Calcott. Another cup is being competed for, the conditions being tor two dogs scoring most points at the meeting, as the other two-dog cup is lor one dog in Class 1 and one dog in Classes 2or 3. These cups are for twodog teams. The chairman, Mr. R. Ornill. presented the balance sheet and report, and coneradiated the members oil a successful year and thanked all who hail helped to that end. He referred to two ol the club’s helpers and members who were in hospital. Miss Mavis Lockwood and Mr. Rob McNeil, ami expressed tile wish that they would soon lie restored to health. A vote nr thanks was passed to Mrs. R. Craill and her assistants, who again will take charge of the running of the booth at the trials', and also to Mrs. 0. (1. James, who, with a committee ol helpers, will undertake the arrangements for the club ball. An advertisement in the Herald within the next two or three’days will show a full list of cups and specials.
