THREE NEW LINERS
ORDERS FOR THE CLYDE ACTIVITY AT SCOTSTOWN (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 10 a.m. RUGBY, Feh. 3. February has started well for the Clyde shipyards with the announcement oi three new contracts. Messrs. Denny Brothers, of Dumbarton, have been commissioned to build two 4000-ton cargo liners for the Henderson Line, of Glasgow, and the Nourso Line have instructed Messrs. Connel Limited, of Scots town, to build a motor liner of 92C0 tons dead weight. Six months ago, the Scotstown yard was without a keel, a position which had obtained for over six years, but work on live vessels is now being commenced.
